Bray asked the judge to delay his prison stay while he appealed the sentence, but the request was denied. He is due to start his sentence June 20.
RB Construction is a four-employee commercial and residential real estate development firm whose primary client is Harvard University, according to a court filing. The firm has been tapped by Harvard to renovate laboratories and other buildings at the school, the filing said. Bray's lawyer argued that if Bray were sent to prison, RB would likely have to shut down.
Brays lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment on the sentencing.
O'Neill is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday. He pled guilty in 2014 to conspiring to commit securities fraud.
